Nursing Scholarship
Army ROTC Nursing Scholarship?
I want to become a Registered Nurse and serve in the US Army. I am going to have a hard time paying for school and do not really want to get a loan. I was just wondering how hard it would be to get a 2 or 3 year ROTC Nursing scholarship? What are the requirements? How would ROTC work if starting a Nursing program in your Sophomore or Junior year? (You have to do clinicals in the summer between Junior and Senior)?
I do know that in AFROTC you are (pretty much) guaranteed a Type I (full ride with monthly stipend0 scholarship. You have to get into nursing school and maintain specific GPA but other than that its pretty easy. As for Army, I would imagine it is pretty similar because the ROTC programs run pretty similar to each other.
