CRITERIA FOR JUDGING PROJECTS
Innovation, creativity, excellence and enthusiasm that stimulates
and enhances the student learning experience are qualities that
the juror members are looking for in projects.

The jury will evaluate each project based on the following criteria

  • Innovation
    How does the project captivate and engage the audience?
    How is the project innovative or new?
    is your project different from projects of the same type?
    Has technology been used in an effective, instructional or new way?
  • Community
    How many people are developing the project?
    Does the project involve other schools/colleges/universities?
    In what ways can the audience actively contribute?
    How are the project aims fulfilled?
    Is the project useful to a wider community?
  • Value
    How did the authors benefit educationally?
    What new skills have been learnt?
    How can the project be used to educate others?
    What were the problems and how were they overcome?
  • Social Impact and Future
    Does the project improve employment prospects or improve skills for its audience?
    What is the future of the project?
    Can the project be commercialized or replicated?
    How does the project address social equality?
    How does the project empower its audience?
    How does the project deal with social issues in an unbiased and informative way?
