What
is the UAE Educational IT Challenge?
The UAE Educational IT Challenge is a unique initiative of the
Higher Colleges of Technology,
the MOE and the Universities
to promote excellence in the use of Information Technology
in schools, colleges and Universities throughout the UAE and GCC.

What
is different about the UAE Challenge?
The
UAE challenge is different from the Stockholm and Rome
Challenges. Firstly, the UAE challenge is a regional challenge,
designed to improve the use of IT in the classrooms of the
UAE and GCC countries. Secondly, it brings together the three educational
stakeholders, secondary schools, higher colleges and Universities. The
sharing of knowledge and best practice
between these sectors will lead to better projects, more
active involvement and increased learning opportunities for
students and teachers of the UAE and GCC.
Does
it cost anything to enter?
Entry in the UAE Educational IT Challenge is free!
Where
can I get an entry form?
All projects must be entered online. You can do this from
March 2005 till the closing date of 3pm, Jan 31, 2008.
What
will the finalists and winners get?
All entrants receive a certificate of participation. All finalists
and winners in each category will be presented with trophies
and prizes at a special award ceremony. In addition, all
participants in the challenge will get to meet with others
and have the opportunity to display their projects.
