The next major press event will be on March 1st, when we will announce the final number of projects entered and provide breakdowns of each category. Judging of projects will begin on Feb 28th, 2004.

On April 11th there will be a press conference to announce the finalists. The finalists will be notified by email and phone, and their names will be on the website.

2. Global Junior Challenge - Changes in closing date
Good news for all people who have entered projects in the UAE Educational IT Challenge. The City of Rome in Italy runs a world-wide competition which is similar to the UAE challenge.

Entry is free. In 2002 a number of projects were entered from the UAE and one project was selected as finalist!

The closing date for the Global Junior challenge is 30th June 2004. You can enter your project online at http://www.gjc.it/2004/en/submit.asp

We would like to ask all of you who have entered the UAE challenge to think about entering your project into the Global Junior Challenge and help share your ideas with others around the world.

3. ASPGulf Hosting
For projects that are websites, we do not give you web space to create your website. Your project or website must be ready for the judges to look at it on February 28th 2004.

If you have created a website and need to put it on a server so the judges can see it, please contact ASPGULF who are our official web hosting provider.
