Number of projects entered in 2004 challenge already exceed 2002 entries!

Abu Dhabi, UAE. There has been a huge response to the 2004 UAE Educational IT Challenge. With two months left for projects to be entered, the number of projects has already exceeded those of the last challenge.

At 2pm on December 28th 2003, the online registration system recorded entry number 236, thus ensuring the success of this second challenge.

The huge influx of projects has resulted from secondary students according to the organizers. At present, this category has the highest proportion of entries recieved. In this challenge special attention has been made to specifically target secondary schools, and this strategy is now paying dividends.

With two months left to closing date, it is difficult to imagine what the final total of projects will be. The current breakdown of projects is,
