FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This is a list of common questions and answers about the Challenge.

What will the finalists and winners get?
• All entrants receive a certificate of participation
• All finalists and winners will get to meet with others and display their projects
• All finalists and winners receive finalist/winner certificates
• All winners will be presented with trophies and prizes

When do I have to complete my entry form?
The deadline is 3pm, January 31st 2008. Incomplete entry forms will not be judged.

When is the deadline for entering projects?
• The deadline is 3pm, January 31st 2008
• Late entries will NOT be accepted
• The completed entry form and any supplemental documentation (CDROM’s, documents, files) must be received before 3pm on January 31st 2008

Is my project eligible for a UAE National award?
• If the majority of the work has been done by UAE National(s), then the project is also eligible for entry as a UAE National award
• This award can only be presented to a UAE National
• There are a total of 2 UAE National awards (best student, best teacher)

How do I update my project details online?
• Go to http://www.uaechallenge.com/entry_2008.asp
• Enter your username and password
• Click the login button.
Your project details will be shown. You can now enter new details. There are four different pages. Enter the details on the first page, then click the button Update and Continue to the next page.

I have forgotten my username and password
• Send an email to uaechallenge@hct.ac.ae
• Please give your project title, contact name, email address and any other information about your project that will help us in finding the information
• The password will be sent to the email address that you entered when the project was created

My project is on CDROM. How do I get it to the judges?
You must send THREE copies of the project on CDROM before January 31st 2008. Our address is
